These terms are a legal agreement between you and the provider of MyShift Pro ("we", "us"). By downloading, accessing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Estimates only — not advice

MyShift Pro helps you record and estimate your work hours, pay, holidays, paydays and bills. Every figure the app shows is an estimate based solely on information you enter and assumptions you choose. It is not financial, tax, accounting, legal or employment advice, and it is not a substitute for your payslips, your employer's records, or professional advice. Figures may be wrong or differ from what you are actually paid. Always verify against your official payslips and do not rely on the app for any financial, tax or legal decision.

Use at your own risk

You use the app, and act on anything it shows, entirely at your own risk. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter, for any decisions you make, and for keeping your account and data secure. We are not a party to your relationship with your employer or any third party.

No warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including (to the fullest extent permitted by law) any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be accurate, error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or that data will not be lost. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time. Keep your own records and export your data regularly.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable to you for any loss or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with the app or these terms — including, without limitation, loss of money, income, wages, profits, savings, data, or goodwill; underpayment or overpayment; tax errors; or any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss — whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, and whether or not foreseeable.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you have paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) £0 where the app was provided free of charge.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any of your statutory rights as a consumer that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Your indemnity to us

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of the app, your breach of these terms, or your reliance on its estimates.

Acceptable use

Don't use the app unlawfully, attempt to break or abuse it, or use it in a way that harms others. We may suspend or end your access if you do.

Changes & governing law

We may update these terms; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. These terms and any dispute relating to them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
